The Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery was founded in 1948, in São Paulo, with the aim of promoting and improving the study of plastic surgery in Brazil. Today, the SBCP is made up of approximately six thousand and two hundred plastic surgeons, including members, associates and aspiring members.
